On December 23rd, Norah received antibiotics for an ear infection.
On December 24th, Simon went in to the doctor due to concerns with wheezing and coughing, given an oral steroid and continued use of inhaler.
On December 26th and 27th, Simon was throwing up with low grade fever. Possible side effect of oral steroid, or just unlucky.
On December 27th late in the afternoon, his eye looked pink.
On December 28th, Simon was given eye drops for pink eye. Becky laundered lots of bedding and blankets around the house.
On December 29th and 30th, Becky endured the icky sicky stomach bug with throwing up, no energy, and bad headaches.
On December 31st in the middle of the day, Becky turned the corner and had some energy and felt a bit better. Company was on its way.
On January 3rd, Simon complained of ear pain and has one ear infected with the other on its way. Given an antibiotic with something else added to help get rid of his bug.
Norah still has a cough.
So, the week after Christmas we stayed housebound and played with toys and watched some movies and snuggled when needed. And housebound, I mean I went to doctor's visits and one outing on Thursday before I knew I was sick. I can tell you that I may be a bit stir-crazy. But, the longer one stays at home going nowhere farther than around the block, it is easy to just stay at home. I could make do with comfy cotton and discovering pantry/freezer/cabinet goodness. It really was pleasant to just play away the days.
Let's hope we all get better and stay healthy!

I'm sorry to hear you've had so much crud at your house. Not a fun way to spend Christmas vacation!
Funny... my word verification is "reheal". :)
UGH. Sounds awful and I hope you are all well on your way to complete health. Happy 2012!
