Welcome to our little corner of the world where we celebrate all the big and little moments in life. Sometimes a little ant makes our day and sometimes an important milestone marks the day! We hope you visit often, write a comment, and leave with a little happiness!

MAMA

Today, my sitter asked Simon "Who is coming?" as I walked to the front door.
For the first time ever, he told her:
"M A M A"

Easter

Sorry for the delay, we were having internet difficulties. We are up and running once again.
We enjoyed a lovely Easter! The morning began by celebrating Christ's resurrection in church. Ringing bells for the festive Easter service is one of Becky's highlights of the year! Then we made the final touches to our Easter brunch for Eric's family and had a wonderful time!

Simon enjoyed his Easter basket. He became so preoccupied with the book about cars, that the rest of his basket was not discovered until after church.

An Easter Egg Hunt was enjoyed by the little ones. (The older nieces hid the eggs.) Jessica knew what to do, Simon wanted to slide and hand eggs to Jessica, and Nathaniel enjoyed wandering around. The adults watched and laughed at the lovely and precious sight!

A Blessed Palm Sunday to You

We love the Easter season, and hope and pray this Palm Sunday finds you with a peaceful heart and a happy soul! We enjoyed the colorful spray of flowers and plants at the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. Simon does not stay still for pictures and is fascinated by water. If it was up to him, he would go head first into every spot of water! Enjoy the anticipation of Jesus' resurrection on Easter morning!

Here Simon is wearing one of Grandpa Wiens' childhood coats. The story has it that Great-Grandma Wiens made it for Simon's Grandpa. Simon sure looked dapper!
