Curly Cue

Okay, so I might become addicted to this blog thing. It is quite simple and easy, however; it takes quite a while with our slow dial up connection. Here is a recent picture of Simon's curls, which are quite adorable in our opinion. The question is, when does he need his first haircut and will the curls come back?

Mommy's theory: When asked if he is a girl, then he will definitely need a haircut. Until then, curl away!!! Mommy will cry when the curls will be cut, because then his babyhood will officially be over.

Daddy's theory: His first haircut will keep him our cute little boy! Just a little off the back may keep some of the curls while providing a neat trim.

Welcome to our first blog ever! We cannot guarantee success as this is our first attempt. We are hoping that our blog will help distant family seem a little closer as our family continues to grow! Enjoy and happy blogging!

We recently enjoyed a beautiful, warm September afternoon with out of town friends at Millenium Park in downtown Chicago. Simon loved splashing around in the water fountain and did not mind being stripped down to his diaper!

We were able to take in a night game at Cellular (old Comiskey) Field. This was Simon's first major league baseball game. Eric was a bit saddened that it was not at Wrigley where Cubby blue flies high. The Sox won, and it was when they still had a chance at the wild card. Now, Simon proudly wears his Twins shirt from Grandma and Grandpa Wiens.
