- an Easter Egg Hunt
- hunting for the perfect outfits to dress up my kiddos for Easter
- gathering Easter basket items
- hiding Easter baskets, and providing Blues Clues to find them
- coloring with crayons
- playing Memory
- reading books while cuddling little bodies
- giggles while playing peek-a-boo
- hugs and kisses and tickles and pats and nuzzles galore
- playing outside
So, all of these little joys and blessings are totally worth
- fevers
- teething and growing pains
- middle of the night cry spells
- emotional growth spurts (a.k.a. meltdowns/tantrums)
- finishing my a.m. coffee at 2:00 p.m. after reheating it twice
- my children's inability to always or completely dress themselves or manage personal belongings
- sweeping the floor 3-5 times a day
- eating my food cold, after cutting and assisting little people's ingestion
- the little pieces that get lost in the dishwasher and the little socks that get lost in the washer/dryer
- icky illnesses and owies
