First and Last in First

I sent homemade chocolate chip cookies with my first grader way back on his first day of first grade.  He didn't eat any, he only ate one bite of his sandwich.  He'll be greeted with homemade chocolate chip cookies when he gets off the bus on his last day of first grade.

Norah and I have a job to do to make his surprise treat!

Why, yes he did. Chocolate chips BEFORE lunch is a very rare event in this house!
