Norah's First Day of Preschool

It is the night before Halloween. Lots of pictures to be taken tomorrow. That means, I must take off quite a number of pictures from the camera. These include Norah's first day of preschool, our MN State Fair Trip, our trip to MI, and Norah's preschool Halloween party. Now, I have lots of pics to post!

Here are Norah's first day of preschool pictures. From the Tuesday just after Labor Day. My strong and independant little girl has a shy and unsure side. We noticed it first during the week of VBS. This side came out of her again, on her first day of preschool. She is still a lil' thing encountering the big unknown world!

No smiles here.

Definitely not happy about the church/preschool sign picture.

She found and picked a dandelion, perhaps the only joy in her morning of being left somewhere fun for 2 1/4 hours.

Her cubby, and still not happy.

We left her in tears. About 3 weeks ago she finally bounded into preschool with eagerness and no tentativeness about being left there.

I love her hung head and shoulders. It reminds me of Simon when he is not happy. He hangs his head and shoulders. Maybe she got it from him?

I loved the kangaroo costume. You do such a good job sewing things.

I can't wait to see Simon dressed as Mr. Home Depot Man.
