Some of you may know that we have had company for quite a while. There has been a mouse in the house. This mouse does not like peanut butter, attributed to several empty sticky traps placed in his most visited sites around the kitchen and family room. (Eric preferes the sticky traps to see the rewards of catching a mouse; as determined from previous experience.) This mouse has been quite bold and has presented himself during dinner time (a distraction for Simon) and when we had friends over. So , Eric is in the garage on his way outside to shovel our 8-9 inches of snow and all of a sudden I hear a whack against the wall. Then he asks for a plastic bag and a sticky trap, as he is standing on the mouse's tail who may have suffered a broken back from the whack. Needless to say the sight was too grotesque for me to capture the moment on camera! Would you like to see a mouse stuck on his back with his feet wiggling around in the air? So long to one little mouse. Now, how many more will there be? And why can we not catch them?
